What does "art" mean to you?

Art is anything that is produced by someone with intent or purpose behind it, which could be to garner a reaction or just to heal the artist.

What's your artist statement?

I make art to understand myself, to explore the different facets of my interests, and try to convey my visions of the world and the future. I enjoy making videos, drawing, painting, collages, music, i'll try any medium i have access to. Concepts of afro futurism, identity, femininity.

Has Teen Lab helped you grow as an artist?

Teen lab created a safe and reliable space i could go to in order to explore and find my niche as an artist. Teen Lab created a community of teen artists who i can draw inspiration from and connect to.
