How would you describe your art practice? (What are your favorite media, subjects)
I try to work with all media types when I get the chance. I'd like to say that I'm a mixed media artist; although I mainly do sketch art, I will use anything available to get my point accross (not that there's always a point). I typically tend to work on what interest me or pops up in my head. I don't worry about the meaning of my work until it's all said and done. I think that's what makes it fun.
In no more than 200 words, describe what you love about art.
I love everything about art; I love the way it makes people feel, the way it makes people act, and they way it makes people see things. I love the revealing and confounding nature of art, how it can confuse, amaze, and enlighten all at the same time. I like that there's really no limit to what art can be.
What are some of the major themes of your work?
I don't tend to worry about the theme until after the work is completed, unless of course my work is a product of a previous thought. Often when I do find the theme, my work can be related to self worth, vanity, mortality and/or aspiration.
