Teen Lab at the Art Institute of Chicago

What's your artist statement? 

I make art based on the things that inspire me, whether that be a current event or a show that I'm into, or even a discussion I've previously had. I am influenced by "the cool'; because of this, my art reflects whatever I see that I deem interesting at the time.

 

What does "art" mean to you? 

Art is the expression of the world, whether it be of human creation or from the works of nature. Art is anything that provokes thought and/or emotion.

 

Has Teen Lab helped you grow as an artist?

Teen lab has helped me grow not only as an artist, but as a person. I have learned to be more considerate of the diversity of others, and thus I now practice careful crafting, making sure that every demographic can receive equal satisfaction from my work.
